A downloadable game

Project Swordbreak is a 3rd Person Action Adventure game that places a strong emphasis on dungeon-solving, immersive fast-paced combat, and rewarding world exploration. A standout feature of the project is its built-in Randomizer system, which enhances replayability and introduces an exciting twist to each playthrough. Developed solo by me, the game draws inspiration from iconic titles such as the Nintendo 64 era Zelda games, particularly 'The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask,' as well as metroidvanias like 'Super Metroid' and 'Hollow Knight.' Influence from FROMSOFT games like 'Dark Souls' can also be noted in its design.

Currently, the project is built on Unreal Engine 5.3.2, with its original version crafted in 4.26 and subsequently updated with newer versions as they became available. Opting for forward rendering to optimize performance, particularly suited to the game's stylistic art style, has proven effective. Development has predominantly utilized a combination of C++ and Blueprint scripting. Notable features include a comprehensive character movement system, combat mechanics, lock-on system, and ability system. Currently, the dialog system is in development, with plans to further enhance the enemy classes for an improved combat experience.
