Project Swordbreak is a solo-developed action-adventure game that merges fast-paced combat, intricate dungeons, and a rewarding world to explore. Inspired by titles like The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Hollow Knight, and Elden Ring, this project is built with Unreal Engine using a combination of C++ and Blueprint Classes.

To enhance replayability and make randomizers more accessible to mainstream players, Project Swordbreak features a built-in randomizer system developed from the ground up. This system allows players to experience shuffled items, secrets, and challenges without requiring external mods.

  • Technical Character Features: Real-time facial expressions, lifelike physics for hair, and a dynamic skeletal mesh system for alternate character designs.
  • Additional Custom Systems: PCG foliage for rapid level design, a treasure chest system with rewards, and a fluid Grapple Hook system.
